Developments

Prior to 1983, the heart and soul of Columbus – its Central Business District – had fallen into decay and disrepair. In response, concerned business owners and citizens established UPtown Columbus, Inc. Since its inception 21 years ago, UPtown Columbus, Inc. has been involved in three master plans in the UPtown area. From those plans, over one billion dollars in capital investment has been expended. UPtown Columbus, Inc. is currently updating the 2010 UPtown master plan to improve the quality of life for all of Columbus. 

UPtown development has progressed rapidly in recent years. From cultural arts, Streetscapes, residential and education, UPtown construction has been booming both in quantity and project scale.

The Business Improvement District and UPtown Columbus, Inc. are involved with many projects that make UPtown Columbus an even better place to live, work and play.
