Uptown Columbus is home to many historic buildings. Before renovations can be made on these structures,
approval must be obtained from the planning board and all construction must be in accordance with the Historic Guidelines.

Uptown Facade Board
The Columbus City Council established the Uptown Facade Board on October 13, 1987 to provide and protect continuuity
of design, and preserve the architecturel integrity of the properties within the board's jurisdiction. The board's current
jurisdiction covers the CRD & C-1 Zoning District (Central Business District).
